Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of Great Uncle Andy's passing. I last saw him in April 2013 in Butler at my uncle's funeral. My sister, Sally Russin, and I enjoyed talking to him that day and hearing stories of the Russin family. He and I connected several years ago at Christmas when we exchanged cards and letters. He was so kind the past years to share old photos of the Russin family from Lyndora with lists of his mother, father, brothers and sisters and made comments on the backs of the photos so...

It was an honor knowing you and being your neighbor Andy. Have many fond memories.

Uncle Andy was with us at my Mom's funeral three years ago. He was always such a joy to be with. He shared some great family pictures. I shared his love of art. I teach art. Michele, I would love to talk with you one day. Love from Texas. Sorry I can't be there. I am Betty York's daughter, Carol.

My grandson Willem enjoyed going to Eat'n'Park to talk to Andy and listen to his stories about his art and the battle of Normandy. Willem especially enjoyed his visit with Andy at his home where Andy showed him all the models he had made. He will truly be missed.
