The NC Run for the Fallen will honor fallen troops from North Carolina at a Memorial Run on Saturday, May 29th, 8:30am, Ayden Grifton High School track, Hwy 11 S. Ayden NC. Each troop will be honored by a runner/walker who carries a flag in his memory for one mile. Please come join us in honoring our fallen troops. Andrew and I were good pen-pals and talked on the phone quite a bit when he was in Iraq serving. When I didn't hear from him for a while, I got a sick feeling to my stomach. When I found out, I was so sad and shocked. I feel very honored to have had his friendship. I have never forgotten him and never will. His honor lives on and I often think of him and his family.
