Not sure what to say?

I had just sent Andrew his yearly Birthday greetings, which I have been sending for many years! We were dear friends, and this tragic news, will be paining my soul for endless times! He always called me in appreciation of my memory of his special day! I shall miss him more than I can ever express! Rest in peace my dear friend, and I will never forget our wonderful times together! I have known Andrew since he was born and as a family we attended his graduation from the Culinary Institute and dined at his first restaurant jn NYC The Maryland Crab house as well as others. We saw him about a year ago when he visit with Zach here in San Diego. He was a part of my family and we will miss him.

I first met Andrew in the 80s when he owned Steak Frites and loved him immediately-he knew my whole family- my husband Olivier was his hair stylist He was a loving, caring and thoughtful man raising Zaccari on his own and helped him so much! Whenever I passed one of his many restaurants he´d be sitting outside w friends and would always call me over to introduce me and using my full name - saying Mary Donovan from Condé Nast even yrs after I left - always asking about my children and...
