Remembering a gentle, kind person taken too soon.

SO saddened by the news - our son was baptized by Fr Andy just after I went through RCIA - now that his confirmation is coming up it really hits home to her this so long after his passing - our condolences to the family and we will always have very fond memories of Father Andy and his kindness.

Thoughts and prayers are with St. Joseph's school community. Father Andy will be greatly missed.

Hello, my friend
Cindy Wood called last night to tell me about your cancer diagnosis. A phone is nice but a letter is better--always. I want to say right away that the news did not make me sad--I cannot find it in my heart to be sad for someone who is about to take the next step closer to God. My feelings are not the most important at this time--God is calling and I think he takes precedence. Just the same, I feel a little...

Rest in peace good and faithful servant. Fr. Andy was my classmate at Theological College-Catholic University of America. We were ordained deacons together and celebrated our priestly ordinations in the summer of 1994. I will always remember his hospitality and one of his favorite phrases when things would get stressful, "Let it flyyyyy away!"
