I remember much about Mr. Sykes from the neighborhood in South Holland. I especially remember that he asked me to pick out a book from "his" book department at Fields in honor of my Confirmation. I selcted a Thesaurus, which I still have on my desk at work. He --and you all- were a special part of childhood. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
