My husband and I were so shocked to hear about
Andy's death from our son-in-law, Eric Hagenauer. Over the years we had heard a lot of positive things about Andy from Eric regarding their growing-up together from a very early age. When we finally met Andy a few times at the Hagenauer's home we could readily understand what Eric was talking about. What a friendly, out-going, young man, who was so easy to talk to!

I just heard about Andy's death moments ago. I am shocked and saddened by the news. I met Andy when the kids were at Seton. One memory in particular I have of Andy was during a soccer game, the girls team was playing and Andy found a cool looking insect on the sidelines and snapped several photos of it. I guess that was the teacher in him always at work.
Mary, Drew and Brenna my heart goes out to you and I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Such an amazing person who cared for anyone who came into his life.

To the family and friends of Mr. Truax there are few with a light that shines as bright as his. With our deepest sympathy to hear of his passing as he touched our lives through Boy scout troop 575 and Mantua soccer may he rest with peace, and peace be with all.
