Not sure what to say?

Dear Upjohn Family. I am just seeing this and so sorry for your loss . I have such great memories of tennis parties with my parents Bob and Grace while a pack of us kids including Andy would race and tumble around the wonderful Upjohn yard and playhouse on Gull Lake . He was such a nice and fun person. Thinking of you all with warmest memories and regards. Elizabeth (Beth or Liz) Holmes Gaar

Always in my heart. “Wild as the Wind” by Bowie.
To all who know and loved you, the world is not as full of wonder.

Andy and his siblings were the joyful highlights of my life, bringing acceptance, adventure and love in their spontaneous reaches toward life, Andy most of all. I pray he continues to climb the heights. And I pray for the healing support of ohis brother and sisters that together they find peace. My love continues with you always.

Long ago Old Gull Lake friend. Families were close !!! Wonderful kid back then .... may he rest in peace . Positive thoughts and prayers to family.

Thinking fondly about the days at Gull Lake. So very sorry to hear the news of Andy. Sending hugs and prayers to you

In '94, Andy let me, someone he'd only known for a week, bonding mostly over beers in the boat marina, hitch a ride on his beautiful sailboat from the middle of the Atlantic to Lisbon.

Those 12 incredible days and nights on the open ocean are a lifetime highlight, but nothing compared to the subsequent 25+ years of friendship with Andy, where we would meet in Florida, Las Vegas, Boston, Kansas, Prague, and the Azores (again). Andy was as genuine, compassionate, gracious and...

I really don’t quite no what to say! Have spent years talking to aunt Janet and ending the call with a “where in the world is Andy at what’s he doing now”?
There is a part of me and others who lived a bit vicariously in our dreams through him! Which made the life we live richer in learning a bit more through him!
The world was indeed a better place with him on it in so many ways! And I will forever miss being able to ask “ where’s Andy and what’s he up too!” He is already missed...
