Not sure what to say?

Andy has been the same Andy from year one in the seafood business. Andy and I were called to my dad´s kitchen table in 1967 to discuss the two of us working together. Andy said "no way with the youngster" Now after 57 years Andy and I have had numerous interactions as competitors, working together and just plain friends. I´ve always looked up to Andy as leading the way. However, he´s one hell of an energetic go get´er that was impossible to follow. Andy lived life with gusto. His energy...

Comfort Planter

This picture was taken 4 days before Andy´s 91st birthday. He was a long-time member at the Bellingham Golf & Country Club and regularly liked to entertain business associates there. Andy was passionate, driven, and determined when it came to his lifetime career in the seafood industry. He owned and operated many different companies over a legendary career, that interacted with some of the Titans of the seafood industry. Perhaps what I enjoyed the most was his endless...

Erin, we send our deepest love and sympathies. While I didn´t have a ton of interactions with Andy, when I did, I knew he was a good man - kind and thoughtful to everyone! What I will remember the most though, is his love for you and your love for him. Your story is so sweet and so genuine. You could tell he adored you and would do anything for you. I can´t imagine the loss you are feeling but I do know he will be watching over you and sending his love from above. We all are here for you...

I met Andy many years ago-what a blessing. He was always kind, considerate, generous and LOUD. When I was working at his home he came to me and said very rapidly & loud "The Rabbi is coming, the Rabbi is coming , the Rabbi is coming "!! Put down your tools and come with me. We have an emergency at the plant. I said to Andy slow down I don´t understand. In the drive to the plant, he explained that the Rabbi was there to bless the plant and process. At the end of the meeting the Rabbi held his...

I met Andy over 60 years ago. I was at a friends house and all of a sudden the double heavily carved doors flew open and there stood a man yelling and screaming throwing his suitcase on the floor. I asked my friend "who is that". In a calm soft voice he said "Andy" !! He´s been a wonderful friend and I´ll miss making him & Erin lamb shank dinners. Love you Jayne Mickas

Having Andy as my 2nd Cousin was awesome such a great man, he will be so missed, Terry & I have wonder memories and so many good times with him, sending our love and prayers to Erin & Family
