Not sure what to say?

To the Walker Family
I was trying to get hold of Andy to have lunch with him and unfortunately came up with his obituary. I had talked with him a year ago when I came to Charlotte for my grandson's birthday party. This time I though I would come a little early and have lunch with Andy. Unfortunately it was too late. He was a fine gentleman and fine Plastic Surgeon as well. He came to Charlotte about the same time I came to Winston-Salem. He is missed. Please accept my belated...

To the Walker Family,
Andy contributed as much as any person could possibly do to make the world a better place. He made a difference that impacted the lives of many. Try to take some comfort in this knowledge.
Sincerely, Howard Ross (Kiwanis Club of Charlotte)

Special condolences to Bruce Walker and his family from Ramelle Smart. I had the privilege to get acquainted with Dr. Walker working and assisting him at The Cypress from April to September. He had a tenacity and determination that kept him going inspite of his illness. I admired him greatly and wish to express my deepest sympathy to all of his family.

Andy was a long-time friend through the Fortnightly Club. He will be missed by all who knew him. My condolences to the family on your loss.

I knew Andy both through our membership in the Fortnightly Collectors Society and our fondness for bridge. I think maybe Andy and I were the only two collectors of Souvenir Cards in Charlotte, and I loved trading them with him. I will miss him greatly. Andy, RIP.

Kathy and Children - I'm sorry to hear about Andy. I fondly remember playing duplicate bridge with Andy and remember how proud I felt when he asked me to be his partner. This was a great honor. Andy was a great doctor who helped many people. May God comfort you in this time.

Sincerly,

My name is Jeff Boyd. I was Dr. Walker's first fingers reattachment in 1967. I cannot ind the words to tell you the impact he had on my life. Dr. Walker sounds like a wonderful man who really helped to make an impact in his field and beyond, I'm sure. It was nice to read about him and to see that he worked with my grandfather, Dr. William Berkeley. My condolences for your loss. Sincerely, Sarabeth Berkeley Hudson
