Not sure what to say?

This man saved my life. I had been through countless doctors over many years and it wasn´t until Dr. Warner became my gastroenterologist that I finally was able to live life fully again. I just found out about his passing and am beyond dismayed. On top of that he was just a great guy to talk to. I am eternally grateful for the care that he provided.

Dr Warner has been my gastroenterologist since 2008. He was the one who finally diagnosed me after several other specialists were unable to. In my 40-plus years of life, he is the best doctor I have ever encountered in any specialty. He is not only intelligent but his personality and ability to know exactly what to say and when to say it set him apart. I didn't know a lot about his personal life however, reading the stories makes me both happy and sad. I know I will miss him dearly. Rest...

I am both sad & shocked to receive the news of my gastroenterologist passing, Dr. Warner. He was my doctor for at least 20 years I believe. Since learning this shocking news I now try to think back to my last visit with him. Always believing that when the visit with him was finished, id see him again in due time or few years. If only I knew. I´m devastated. I felt good with him and he knew me and my story. In fact my last memory before my last colonoscopy with him some 2 years ago or so was...

Just learned today of Dr. Warner's recent passing while calling to check on scheduling a procedure. Such a vital, wonderful Doctor and such a great loss to his family and the Lahey community. I loved his choices of music during procedures and when asked once what music I preferred , I deferred to him saying and laughing that I wanted him to be happy. I always felt safe and well cared for with Dr Warner. Sending heartfelt condolences to his beloved family.

Very saddened to hear of Dr. Warner´s passing. I knew Andy through Civil Air Patrol, where he was much admired for his leadership, compassion, humor, and knowledge. Andy was a passionate advocate of data-driven risk management as applied to aviation, drawing on his experience as a physician.

Ann. So sorry as I just learned of Andrew´s passing. Our prayers are with you and your family. Michael Malone

I was so deeply saddened to learn of Dr Warner's passing and wish my most sincere condolences to his family. I was a patient of Dr Warner's for 30 years and I remember when I first met him in a consultation with Dr Nugent. From that point on Dr Warner became my gastroenterologist and I have told people on more than one occasion that I believe that Dr Warner had saved my life. During my visits we would often chat about his golden retrievers and life in general, I looked forward to my visits...

Single Memorial Tree

I was utterly shocked today during an appointment I had today at Lahey when I heard of Dr. Warner's passing. I've been seeing him for the past 24 years--ever since my wife and I moved up here from DC. As a retired Air Force officer, Dr. Warner provided me with amazing care longer than any other doctor in my entire life. He was always cheerful and good humored in greeting me meet every year for my annual "inspections" and would always inquire about my wife, 2 kids, dogs, and vacations. Reading...
