Not sure what to say?

It is wintery evening of 1980 on the road to Fujairah. Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman already gone by the windows of our cars. Finally, it is time for something wet, something cold, for easy, friendly talk. Some of us there were quite young, few had a lot more experience, all were full of hope for a better future. Andrzej Bobinski played the first fiddle. He went already through so many life’s upheavals that the time spent on the shores of Arabian Gulf was for him just a one short stop. It was one...

It is almost the first anniversary of your departure. Looking at your photo
it feels like it was yesterday.

Pawel, i worked with your father on the National library and cultural centre in Abu Dhabi from May 1978 until April 1981. He was the main man for TAC and I was their building services mechanical engineer. he was a gentleman and held the TAC site team together. Your mum and dadlived on the 5th floor while myself and my family lived on the 9th floor.I often wondered what happened to him. I could go on and on, but once again I am sorry for your loss

Andrzej was a special person for so many reasons. He was a kind and gentle man, he was a man of few words but thoughtful and genuine in everything he said to me. My time with him was to short but I am so grateful to have been able to share the precious moments I spent with him. I remember him most as a kind soul and loving to my friend Lisa, who could ask for anything else. May you Rest In Peace my friend. Carol

Whenever we had the pleasure of visiting one of their abodes and marvelling at the unforgettable interior designs, Andrzej and...

First time I met Andrzej while skiing at Kasprowy Wierch, Poland - it happened about 70 years ago! He was there with his first wife, late Barbara. Later we were bumping into each other from time to time until we all landed in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Then most our free time was spent together either sunbathing and swimming or making trips into desert or having fun at any possible musical performance (rarity at that time in UAE).
Since then we were in contact also when he left the Emirates and moved...
