ANDY THORNAL

In my entire life, I have never met a finer man than Andy. I corresponded with him for quite a time as we both had a love for flying, our dogs, and many of the same things in life. Those things were the simple things. From his treasured retreat in North Carolina, he would send me photos of things that he loved, again simple things. A flag pole made out of a fallen tree limb, a reading room he had recently built, the barbeque area which the stone wall that his mother built still...

We first met Andy through my late Father Inlaw (Maurice Page) who was a true old Vermonter well known for his wooden tub making. Andy liked Maurice and each time he visited the area (East Corinth, VT)he would stop for a visit. The Page family loved Andy and we are all very sad at his passing. I last got an email a couple of months ago and Andy filled me in on his health problems. We will remember Andy for the genuine person he was and for the friendship we had.
