Andy Wingert

Andy was such a wonderful, wonderful man but I remember him as a special and treasured husband. When he and Kim traveled he bought rubber duckies to float in her bath. He also brought his own wine that he knew they would both love, for all the neat small bistro type restaurants they would stop at. He was such a good dad. I remember driving by and seeing Andy teaching/practicing golf with Gabe. He ate a raw diet often, changed out all of the light bulbs to eco friendly at his mother-in-laws...

Andy was my fast friend at USC and through letters beyond. From the first day meeting at a gathering of the Thematic Option honors program, we hit it off and spent most of Freshman year side by side. Andy reintroduced me to a friend I had grown up with, Karen (Haymond) McBeath, and we all kept in touch, between Karen and another friend in San Diego and Andy and me in L.A. Karen and Andy were both influential in bringing me closer to Jesus Chris, and I have grown as a Christian since.

Andy was a great neighbor. I envied his canoe. Definitely will miss him
