Hi- I had Angela at R-P middle school as an art class. She was beyond a favorite student and I loved to pull up a stool and sit by her and chat- she was well-spoken, intelligent, and just had the best personality- despite the middle school years of teenagers. Haha. I loved her brave disposition. I hope her parents see this. I can remember Angela talking about her brother and her face always lit up. She loved and admired him. I was thinking of Angela today and am so sorry I missed her funeral....

13 years ago my twin, Jen, and I met Angela. We were sophomores, she was a Senior. High School wasn't a kind place for me mentally, and while I still don't remember most of it, it would have been impossible to forget Angela. She was a shining light. We met how I've met most of my friends; through art. She was a talented artist and could be found doodling often at school. It wouldn't be long before we bonded over our shared interests in illustration and video games. We would sit together at...

She was a true blessing to us and all who came in contact with her. She was determined from the beginning to make a difference and she did. She touched may lives and make them better. I wanted to send my condolences to all who knew Angela. She worked in my lab at the University of Michigan and was such an inspiration. She was so smart, worked hard, wanted to make an impact, and had a great sense of humor that really impacted the lab culture.
