TRAVERSE CITY — Angela Gale Draper, 53, previously of Aspen, Colo., and Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2007. She had recently moved to the Traverse City area to be near her daughter.

Angela was born on Dec. 2, 1953, in Lansing. Angela had a great love for family, friends, life and traveling. She was an incredibly special person and always loved to laugh and, when she did, she would light up the room and bring joy into all our hearts. She believed that laughter from tears could be one of the best emotions. She was a wonderful and beloved mother, wife, daughter and sister. Angela will forever be dearly missed by all those whom she touched. She will always and forever be a true blessing.

She is survived by her daughter, India Draper of Traverse City; her mother, Shirley (Richard) Mocherman of Reading; her father and stepmother, Gale and Joyce Stewart of Hillsdale; her brother, Mark Stewart of Crested Butte, Colo.; her niece, Jessica Kern of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; Marty Draper of Aspen, Colo.; her stepsister April (Michael) Freed of Camden; her stepbrother Patrick (Denise) Nivison of Hillsdale; and Todd (Robin) Nivison of Flat Rock.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Angela's memory can be sent to the Angela Draper Memorial Fund in care of the Fifth Third Bank, 1028 E. 8th St., Traverse City, 49686. A charity will be selected at a later date by her family in Angela's honor.

A service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 30, at the George White Funeral Home, 403 S. Main St., Reading, Mich.

A celebration of Angela's life will take place this summer in Traverse City. Her family would greatly appreciate any photographs, notes of fond remembrance or any other tokens of her memory you could share for her celebration of life. These tokens can be sent to India Draper at 1043 Manitou Dr., Apt. 101, Traverse City, MI 49686.

The family is being served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City.
