What a deep loss to humanity. Angela was a quintessential educator, always quick to help her students, push them to the point of doing their best. I attended Atlanta University by her nudging me forward, and she came to my side when I became Director of the Montgomery Public Library System and President of the Alabama Library Association. It was an honor to work with Angela for many years at Alabama Southern. She was a precious friend and inspiration to me and to my daughter. While I just heard of her passing today, I wept for all of us still here on earth. We will miss her touch in so many ways.
