Not sure what to say?

May they continue to do the dance of love in heaven

Having known Pascual and Angela for many years, I shall miss them for their kindness, their incredible talent, and beautiful personalities. I met them through our mutual good friend, Ann Barzel, who at 100 is in a nursing home. I know that she shares with me our deepest condolescences.

We are grateful for your life. Your unwavering spirit shown in your life story with Pascual has inspired all the YWDs and YMDs of Soka Gakkai Malaysia.

I was so surprised and sad to hear about the passing of Angela Olivera. I saw her dance in Washington D.C. in March 2005. Her performance was so beautiful. What a wonderful spirit. I knew her husband Pasqual, when I started my practice in Chicago 1974. I know that their wonderful spirit will go on forever.

Upon hearing reports of Angela's illness I had no doubt that, as a Buddha, she understood and was prepared to fulfill her destiny, as she had done thousands of times before. After moving to California, I took two guests to a musical performance and was surprised to see her. It was her first performance since Pascual's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Angela and I grew close very soon after she came to Chicago as the love of Pascual's life. I caught her bouquet after their Chicago wedding! She and I were roommates in 1979 for nearly a week on tozan. I spoke at length with her twice after Pascual died and heard her heart breaking, yet still remaining strong in her practice. Early in their marriage, Angela began to understand how important it was for her to support Pascual in spite of his having to be away from her so much for various...

It was an honor to speak, and chant with both of them. They showed me that I was only scratching the surface of my own potential. They never missed an oppurtunity to encourage someone else. Angela Del Moral Olivera touched my life and she will be missed, but never forgotten.

A Hui Hou to both Angela (the angel of peace) and her comrade Pascual. I'm sure they are reunited in thier forever lasting dance on Eagle Peack, together!
