Angela Arleen Wright, a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, was born on August 30, 1964, to the late Joe Green and Barbara Ann Harris. Angela passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 24, 2023, after a lengthy, seven-year, courageous battle with Leukemia. She accepted Christ at an early age, and at her time of death was a faithful member of Safe Havens Church Ministries, under the leadership of Pastor Tauric Reed.

Angela was a proud 1982 graduate of Williamson High School. After high school, she began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). For more than 40 years, she dedicated her life and services to caring for patients, as well as their families.

Angela was an outgoing person with a zest and a passion for life. She had a generous and giving heart, and was willing to help anyone in any way she could. If she was not working or taking care of her grandkids, you would probably find her at Dillards, Belks, or Ross, because she loved to shop!

Despite her diagnosis, Angela continued to live her life to the fullest; even on her bad days, she rarely complained, and her faith in God never wavered. Though her time here on earth has ended, her beautiful legacy and fond memories will live on in our hearts for a lifetime.

Angela was preceded in death by her father Joe Green; mother, Barbara Harris; grandmother, Azilean Todd; uncle, Arthur Wright, Jr; aunt, Fannie B. Wright, and cousin, Kenric VonArthur Wright.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, four children; Ashley Wright, Adrian (Jeffery) Langham, Trey (Zshakira) Wright, and Alice Burroughs; 13 grandchildren, Alayna Dortch, Aleceia Dortch, Ashton Wright, Amyia Langham, Alexandria Langham, Aaliyah Langham, Devonte Wright, Amori Wright, Aubri Wright, Airreina Eli, Alayegiah Johnson, Jayden Reed, and Aiden Burrough; 1 great-grandchild, Ace Ward; brothers, Korwin (Dr. Janice) Harris and Robert Harris; nieces and nephews, Kameron Davidson, Robyn Harris, Robert Harris Jr, Kailyn Harris, Kourtlyn Harris, Korwin Harris III, Kameron Davidson Jr, Kolby Davidson, and Ramello Jones; cousins Kara (Russel) Stanio, Jeryl (Sereana) Rucker and Gwendolyn Todd (John Brock); devoted friends, Sharon Bracy and family, Irene Roper, Lisa Cright, Angela Cright and the entire Cright family, Mary Alice Wright, and Dr. Ashley Thomas. While everyone could not be listed, Angela also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.

The first visitation will be held on Friday, December 29th from 3 - 6 p.m. at B.E. Brown & Co. Mortuary, 5817 Grelot Road. The second visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30th from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 461 Texas Street.

God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear of Angela passing. Every time that I would see Angela she would always have a beautiful smile on her face. I would say how are you feeling her reply would be good even on my bad days. I would tell her girl you got this she would just smile. I am going to miss her beautiful smile. Rest Well

My condolences for your loss! I pray that God will strengthen your family. I actually met her in Dillards in the shoe department many years ago. We would always see each other there (even in Daphne). She is the reason I wear very high heels today. I liked a pair of shoes but the heels were extremely high. She told me, "Girl you can wear those, just try them on." I did after she insisted a few times, and the rest is history! She was always wearing a smile. May God keep you all!

Sincere condolences to the family of our beloved Sister in Christ Angela Wright. Her presence has and will forever be missed. Her unwavering love for God was infectious & endearing! I loved hearing her exclaim " You betta say that!! & You´ve got to know Him for your own one self" You´ve earned your reward!! Prayers to the family. Thaddeus & Raquel Kyser
