Not sure what to say?

Dear John and Michael-We were so sorry to hear that our cousin had passed away & that we weren't able to see you here on L.I. My memories of Angelina (and family)are fond ones & I've met many people from Babylon who remember her well along with their fond memories of Zanetti's Ice Cream Parlor in Babylon village. I promise to visit her gravesite regularly as I also visit that of her father and our Zio Romeo. Please keep in touch & let us know whenever you'll be on Long Island. With fond...

John, thank you for notifying us about Ange's death on Sept. 6. Hugh and I both send our most sincere condolences to you and Michael.

I remember working with Ange in so many contexts - the Republican party in Charlotte when we both lived there, and working together on the 1970 census. She was bright, enthusiastic, smart, and above all was kind to everyone.

We have maintained our friendship by e-mail since she took the plunge and got her first computer. Even though...

Dear John,

I'm so very sorry to hear about Angie's homegoing. I lost Earl last November and know exactly how you feel.

You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Dear John and Michael. I was so sorry to hear of Angie's passing. I still remember the day we met in Wildwood, back in 1950 (or so). We had some great times together with Lina and Emma and my Mom. Even though I didn't see you much, I spoke with her via email alot -- politics, YOU KNOW :)

My sincere sympathy to you both. I'm sure you will miss her.

Love, Gretchen

Republican Women of the South club extends our most sincere sympathy to all of Ange's family. She was a faithful worker for our club and for the Republican party and she will be greatly missed. May the peace of the Lord be with you all. Cindy Douglas, President, RWOS

Dear John and Michael - I stumbled on the Newsday obituary at lunch with my wife and shouted out in shock. I'm so sorry to hear that my cousin Angelina is gone. I tracked down my sister Maria who is in Williamsburg on vacation and told her and Flora who was with her. They asked me to express our familty's condolences if I could find any more information out. Maria had talked to her just a few weeks ago. We all remember our cousin fondly. I was unaware of much of her biographical career...

Hi, John,,,,,I am so sorry to hear of Ange death....I have thought of all of you so often and the time we worked together at CYanamid.....I pray that God will continue to take care of you during this difficult time.....Lots of love to your family Earl and Sarah Wingate.

John, I was saddened to see that Ange has passed away. In February 1974, she was working at Mercy Hospital, and we met. She encouraged me to consider running for The Mecklenburg County Board of Commisssioners. We loved working together. It was a great ride.

Thanks to both of you.
