Dear Uncle Gilly,
Although I didn't see you much in recent years, I'll always remember you as being my Godfather and one of the funniest men in the world. You were the pioneer of ballbreakers and I will miss you tremendously. I'll never forget the time when I spent a week or two at your house on Dearcop and it was around the time of my 10th birthday. You took me to Simons Toy Store at Westgate Plaza and got me a Daisy Air Rifle. I was so excited to get that gun and I remember...

Jeannie, KK, Garrison and Reef Kai,
I'm so sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to you all. Although regretfully, I never met your father/grandfather I feel I know him from the stories you've told me and beautiful photos you've shared with me. A kind hearted, compassionate and brave man, with a mischievous sense of humor! I see that same strength, courage and grace in the four of you, not to mention that wonderful sense of humor and fun that you all share. He, like my own father will...

Dear Uncle Gilly,
You are the sweetest uncle I could ever have. I always think of you when we plant our garden in the Spring. You and Aunt Betty always brought us the best tomatoes! You always gave me great support when my dad was sick. I am so thankful I was able to see you again recently and spend time laughing and crying with you. Please give my dad a hug from me. I will miss you both tremendously. Love, Paula

Uncle Gilly,
Some of my fondest childhood memories are of you and your brothers sitting around the table, eating home made pasta and just laughing and telling stories of times that most of us can only read about.
As I grew up I looked forward to getting home to Rochester to see you at the Cervini family Christmas Party. The joy you brought to all my little cousins when you came into the cabin with a big smile, a red suit and giant bag of presents.
You will always be...

We will miss you dearly
Dear Uncle Gilly,
I loved talking to you at our kitchen table on Ardella Street and hearing about your war stories. I remember you telling me about how you dug a fox hole and the other soldiers were making fun of you. Then you got bombed and you were one of the few who had a hole to hide in. It saved you and everyone had to eat their words after that. I carry that lesson with me throughout my life.
I remember when I went into the Air Force, my mom always told me how you...
