Angelo Louis Ferrari, Jr. beloved husband, father and grandfather born on May 16, 1920, in Redding, Ca. passed away on April 11, 2013, in Fresno, Ca.
Angelo was born in Redding, Ca. to Mary and Angelo Ferrari. His parents emigrated from Italy in their teens and settled in San Francisco. Angelo served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a Sergent in the 18th Engineers, Company A, who paved the way for the ALCAN Highway. After the war he attended the University of San Francisco where he obtained a law degree. In 1946 he married Jean Robinson. They raised four children and celebrated their 66th anniversary on June 8, 2012. In the 1950's he joined the law firm of Stutsman & Nagel in Fresno. He later started a partnership with Curtis Cole and retired in 1995 at age 75.
Angelo was a devoted father and husband. He loved spending time in the Sierras at the family cabin. We all shared wonderful days there enjoying the nature and beauty of the mountains, lake fishing and boating. He was a man who loved cooking, entertaining and sharing his Italian heritage and culture with others. Angelo's enthusiasm and joy for the things he loved was infectious whether it was a majestic night sky or a sublime glass of wine. We will always remember sharing those moments with him. Angelo a much loved man will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; their four children and spouses, John and his wife Liz, Diana and her husband Daniel, Susan and her husband Kirk, and Angelo III and his wife Candy; their grandchildren and spouses, Sarah and her husband Jeremy, Ellie and her husband Nolan and Allison; and great-grandchildren, Faith, Dede and Dakota.
A Memorial Mass in honor of his life will be held at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Monday, April 15, 2013, at 11:00 a.m.

Dear Jean ...My sympathy for Angelo's passing. I was always impressed with his honesty, work ethic and forever, a gentleman. He was "special" among the "specials." I know he & Don are having fun with the angels.
He is happy and at peace.
