Mr. Galassi, remains a fixture in my memories, very fond memories, at least every Friday for over 20 years my family and I would go to Angelo's Pizza on 71st street. To this day it is my favorite pizza, there will never be another like it.

And there will never be anyone who can take Mr. Galassi's place, from the suckers, to the decor, to Mr. Galassi's smile and warm...

We are so sorry to hear about Angelo our Pizza man. He was a wonderful person and had the best pizza. Lots of great memories are with us all. We will miss him and his warm personality.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead. "Mr. Angelo" is what I called him thru my childhood and once I grew up. I'll always remember how much I enjoyed talking to him each time we stopped at the pizza shop on E.71st. My parents took me there as a child, my grandmother took my father when he was a child and I also had the chance to take my own children to get pizza at Mr. Angelo's pizza shop. I'm glad I had the chance to share some memories with him, I especially loved...

To the family of angelo. We are so deeply sorry to hear of angelo's passing. We were customer's of his. We moved to Euclid & my husband would still go for pizza for me once in a while. Sorry again about your loss. He was a great, great guy & will surely be missed by many people. Sorry we did not make it to the service. We just found out today

Warm thoughts and prayers are sent to the Galassi family. I grew up with Angelo and his pizza on E 71st. Every Friday night we got to see Angelo and he always gave a handful of suckers for us kids.
