Not sure what to say?

Angelo and Dete were GREAT neighbors for many years!!

Angie was a kind and fun man and will be missed by all who knew him...rest in peace my friend....

I worked with Angie at the Navy Base and never saw him without his great smile. He was a good person.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Gallo family at this time. May God Bless.

Brotherhood of the Dolphin

To the Gallo Family,

On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS and Swamp Fox Chapter SUBVETS WWII, I offer you our sincere condolences on Angelo's passing. We grieve with you on the loss of your loved one and our shipmate. The SUBVETS will have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Angelo, who earned his 'fish' when he qualified on USS BESUGO SS-321, will always be remembered as a Brother of the Phin and a great Patriot....

Fair Winds and Following Seas...Master Chief, Mentor and Cherished Friend...Dete has waited long enough...

Dear Tanya, I want to offer my condolences at the passing of your Dad. Angelo spent many an hour at my kitchen table, rehashing war stories with my husband Bud who also served in the Navy. I expecially loved his great wine!

To me, Angie Gallo was always Pop. I first met Pop in the fall of 1966, in my first year at The Citadel. Pop had been old shipmates with my roommate's father, and when we got a pass, Craig took me with him to the Gallo's. Mom and Pop and Tanna adopted me and Craig and I were always welcome to drop by announced. The amount of counseling and love two young cadets received from this wonderful family can never be repaid. I'll miss you forever, Pop, but you and Mom will always be in my heart. ...

With our sincerest sympathy. Your family is on our hearts as you go through this time - Sending hugs of comfort. Thank you for giving of yourself in serving our country in the Navy. Rest in peace -
