Angelo Albert Melchiorre, 78, of Seabrook Island, SC, a retired Commodities Trader and husband of Kathleen Downing Melchiorre, died Thursday, May 05, 2016, at Hospice Care Center of Charleston in Mount Pleasant, SC. The relatives and friends of Angelo Melchiorre are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Friday, May 13, 2016, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3871 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Johns Island, SC. Burial will be private. Memorials in Angelo's memory may be made to Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412, or to Our Lady of Mercy, 1684 Brownswood Road, Johns Island, SC 29455.
Angelo was one of the kindest men I knew. I hope Kathleen is doing well I'm sure he is missed by not only her but all the animals that came to his home...he talked about how incredible that was. I wish I could hav tasted some of the treats he baked....what a kind giving man.

I have fond memories of Angelo from working with him at the CBOT and the many years we stayed in touch after he left Chicago. I remeber him talking about all the animals that came to his yard and all the baking he was doing for the church. Every Mother's Day he would send me a donation for the YME walk for breast cancer I did each year after surviving stage 4 breast cancer before the birth of my second child. I am so sorry to hear of Angelo's passing. I lost touch with him and was trying to find him and so sad to see he passed. He was a kind, funny and just an all round nice man. I am sorry I lost touch with him. I am a CBT friend.
