Angelo J. Ponte

I met Angelo I was 27 years old my father knew him and thought very highly of him Angelo was a very down to earth gentleman and took care of all the customers at his restaurant Ponties. He was a gentleman and a scholar. I knew his children pretty well and his nephew a great family he will be missed. Carole

So sad to hear of Angelos passing. As a young kid from Ireland Angelo and Joe gave me a job and opportunity in New York. Both Men were absolute gentleman towards me as a 17 year old kid and busboy at Pontes. I´ll never forget their kindness and hospitality, and indeed the hospitality I received from all the Ponte Family. Rest in peace Angelo

Dear Ponte Family, I am truly sorry to hear about his passing. Our families were close through the years both in business and privately. I always enjoyed speaking to him over the years about how he got started in the business we were both involved. Living in Nevada I was out of touch knowing about his passing. Mr. Ponte was very nice to me . I was so welcome being a stranger to New York City. He and his family and staff were so kind to me. I will never forget.
