Not sure what to say?

“Uncle Ange” (and me) were not always past our primes. Especially for me, although sad and a time for mourning, it's also been a time to reflect on the mornings I shared with my favorite “Strano” uncle. Shared, in no small way (as only a kid can) largely in my imagination, which made it all the more adventuresome! And favorite, as it turned out - fortuitously as I got older- because of what we had in common; looks to begin with, then baseball, and most recently I learned, poetry (or in...

Sophie, we were saddened to hear the news of Ange's passing. You and he were so helpful to Francis' and I at the beginning of our family life. We will always have wonderful memories of living next door to you. You were both so kind to us. We hold you and your family in our hearts.

We send along our deepest sympathy to the Strano family. The passing of Ange will leave a great void to all. While growing up in Punxsutawney the Strano family made great contributions to the community and Ange has served his community well with his efforts, the mentoring of youth, his friendship, and raising two fine boys who I am extremely proud to know and appreciate. All of the Strano family are in our prayers and thoughts during this very sad time.

So sorry to hear of Angelo's passing. I will be out of town and probably will not be able to attend any of the services. My family and I will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
Mr. and Mrs. James Colonna

So sorry to hear of Ange's passing. What a great influence he was on local sports for decades. He was a wonderful bowling buddy and coworker with Dad. It was neat that he and Sophie became neighbors with Mom and Dad on Mulligan Drive.
My sympathy to Sophie and family
