How do you say goodbye to someone who you thought would always be there. I always knew how much I was loved and that to me is the most important part, and the part that makes me happy even though I feel an sadness and emptiness. We will all miss him but each of us, with our own unique memories of him, will always be with us.

Dear Lucy and Family,
I was sorry to read of Mr. Trivelli's passing. Although I only met your father a few times when you and I were at Holy Names, I remember the beautiful work he did at the school and the convent. Moreover, I remember what a good father he was to his children. How fortunate you all were to have shared a life.

Again in death I learn more about someone than when they were alive. Angelo was a man of few words. I am learning now from his family that he had a very interesting life, one that must be remembered to his children and grandchildren. When I first became a member of the Trivelli family, Angelo was still a healthy,vibrant man who enjoyed when we would visit (why didn't we visit more often?). He face would light up when we would arrive. I did learn that he loved a party or social gathering. ...

Carmela and family - I was so sorry to read (late) about your father's death. I really liked both your parents and will pray for them, and you. I also did not know until I read the paper obit that your Dad worked in my agency; I have notified GSA's Public Buildings Service Commissioner, Tony Costa, about Mr Trivelli's death. Again, my condolences.

Dear Mary and family, I was so very saddened to hear that your father died. He was a loving husband to your mother and a wonderful father to all of you and I know you will miss him greatly. There is so little one can say in a time like this to relieve your grief -- only that he is with Our Lord and he is no longer suffering.
