Not sure what to say?

As a little boy living in washington dc, I remember Angelo occasionally coming to our house for Sunday dinner when he was attending Georgetown Med school. Being of Greek decent and reading about his history, I see that his parents came from the same town in Turkey that my maternal grandparents came from. Since they raised there family in NYC , the families reconnect here in the states. A little trivia that I like to share with his family. I'm glad that he had such wonderful life.

Dr. Paraskevas delivered my oldest child, and was so sweet. I will not forgot how nice this man was. When I went back for the second child and learned he was retiring , I ended up meeting another awesome doctor. His memory of offering Valentina as a name ( she was born on Valentines), makes me laugh. Thank you doctor for all your years of service to not only your patients but your country.

I just read a wonderful online story this man told about his life. He was pretty amazing and smart, IMO. https://oralhistory.rutgers.edu/alphabetical-index/interviewees/30-interview-html-text/1420-paraskevas-angelos-part-1 I enjoyed the story so much because I grew up in Roselle which he mentions several times. He said he went to the same grammar school as I did, Harrison Ave School which was 3 blocks from where I lived on Sheridan Ave. I started kindergarten there in 1960, way after...

So sad to hear of his passing. Was my doctor for the first of my five children, and always remembered his bright smile. A true blessing to know him. Nancy Salama

Dr Paraskevas was a wonderful man. He delivered my daughter Christine 41 years ago at JFK. He graduated high School from Abraham Clark in Roselle with my Aunt Mavis. My deepest condolences to his family.

REST in Peace Dr Paraskevas. I think of you always over the years at this time (Halloween) knowing your bday the next day. You saved my first born's life & mine as well, then went on to deliver my next 4. My 1st son Paul has your middle name & my last son (#5) Maxx has your first name as his middle name. Thank you for being the BEST doctor I ever have had! You listened, you were kind & compassionate, and always answered my calls, or called back as soon as you could. I loved hearing your...

Dr. Paraskevas delivered my first child. He was a caring doctor who always made you feel special as a young mother. He also was the doctor who detected twins at 7 months and his best advice was to relax and try to go to full term. They were born full term and were delivered by a surprised Dr Cillo. Boy 6.8 lbs girl 6.11 lbs. He is always remembered in my family´s conversations and to me it keeps his memory alive. Sincere sympathy to his family. Arline Signorella
