Jan. 20, 1921 - March 3, 2011
Resident of Pittsburg
Angie was a mother a wife, grandmother, sister and friend. A life-long resident of Pittsburg she peacefully passed in her home surrounded by her friends', family and loved ones. She is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 70 years Peter P. Mutulo, this April being their 70th anniversary. He was always able to put a smile on her face when he sang to her "Blue Spanish Eyes". She is also survived by her three children; daughter Angela(Linda) Johnson and son-in-law Ron Johnson, her daughter Diane Quesada and son-in-law Demetrio Quesada and her son Vince P. Mutulo. 9 grandchildren, Tracy Johnson, Paul Aiello, Peter Johnson, Peter Aiello, Ronald Johnson, Francine Macdonald, Peter Mutulo, Nicolas Mutulo, Jacob Mutulo along with numerous great-grand and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents Salvatore and Nada Alaimo and sister Peggy Parla. Angie lived a blessed, loving, and faithful life. Being a devout Catholic she celebrated her compassion, creativity and giving to others, she found solace in her faith in trying times. She celebrated her life in pursuits of creativity through sewing, knitting, crocheting, ceramics and cooking; and for just plain fun, she found an art in slot machines, card games and SHOPPING!
The most important part of Angie's life to be remembered is she was there with a positive thought, a helping hand and love for anyone she could help. Along with a special memory for her cream pies and cookies.
With love from your entire family and friends you will be missed. On behalf of our entire family we thank Vitas Hospice and their wonderful staff for their kind and loving care. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Holy Rosary Church in Antioch.
Visitation begins Monday March 7 at 4pm with a Vigil Service at 7pm, with Funeral services Tuesday March 8, 1pm at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel.

It was wonderful to experience the love of family and my Aunt Angie was the hub of that family. When my mom was ill on at least 3 ocassions and went to the hospital, it was my Aunt Angie who took such good care of me and my bothers. To say she was special does not capture the love and kindness she showed to me and everyone she knew. What I...

I will miss the many years of friendship and love I had with you....best shopping buddy ever. Jacob and I were blessed to be able to talk with you a few days before you went to be with Jesus. You had the biggest heart and the most generous spirit....til we see you again. Rosemary and Jacob

Dear Mom,
This world will forever be changed without you in it, I will miss your smile, your singing the many good times we shared together. It was unfortunate that I did not get to know you as long as others have, but I was blessed that you were in my life for the short time that you were. I am happy that your last hours were dignified and peaceful , thanks to the professionals at Vitas. May God shine his perputal light upon you and give your soul a resting place in his beautiful...
