Doña Angelita was our neighbor from across the street for the past 28 years. We loved to see her out in her front yard always smiling and waiving at us. It was great to see how her entire family would get together and how much joy that brought her. My parents loved talking and visiting with her. When my mom would walk across the street, we knew we wouldn't see her for hours because they would sit in the front porch and talk it up with Doña Angelita.
