Not sure what to say?

Angus, I remember seeing you at your granddaughter´s party at Highland Forest a long time ago.

Angus, I look at your picture and I am reminded of your laughter, your joyful spirit and the twinkle in your eye. You are a person I will always remember with deep respect who had such a gentle soul that worked for the cause of others so their lives might be enriched. I know you are at peace and with Barb and our Lord. May Jeanie know you are at peace and watching over her and all the family. I'm sorry that we are not able to be present at your service, but know we are keeping your family...

uncle Angus was the best! he was so good to everyone he met. he stood for peace all his life. Our family looked forward to being with Angus and Barbara Jean on vacations. Jeannie and Charlie have my best wishes!

Thank you Angus for all the little ways you made the Peace Council a better, stronger place. You always made me smile and want to hug you.

My sympathy to all of Angus' family.
I am so grateful to have known this good man and can only echo the words of William Sunderlin. Angus is a model for all of us to let the goodness of our hearts shine through during times full of ugliness and meanness, and speak out and stand (or sit!) for peace and justice.

Never gone, because he lives in our hearts with love, and as an example of living the change you want to create in the world.

I first met them when I was a young man in my 20's in the early 1970's. they were the "radical" parents we all wanted. Angus marched in the first NYC Gay Pride Parade in 1970. He happened to be in NYC alone at the day and time, and he saw "the cause was...

My last meeting with Angus, July 24, 2010

Our Angus has left earthly company. He was such an inspiration! I know of no one who was gentler, kinder, such a bearer of hope in a wayward and threatening world, such a strong believer in peace and justice, and so courageous in making his views known to all. He was a joyful human being. He was such a wonderful conversationalist and so much fun to be with.

I met Angus when I was a young man working at the Syracuse Peace Council in the 1970s. From then until now I have seen him as a...
