Anita Austin

I just learned that Anita passed last Fall. Tonight I found a note from her as I was cleaning out old email messages and I thought to look her up. I knew her from our conversations at Radiance Herbs and always enjoyed her spirit, presence, and quality of mind. I feel grateful to have met her.

Anita was such a lovely and brave lady. I was blessed and honored to have met her.

Anita, I will miss you. You were always one of my bravest warriors in life.

Hello Sasha, Jacob, and Diane. I wanted you to know how much Anita touched my heart. We were "wolves" as part of Samba Olywa for the 2013 Procession of the Species. I looked through my photos to see if I had any of her as a wolf, but I don't.

She was in pain as the result of her treatment, but she was still out there, dancing. When she told me all of the things going on with her health and her life, I was very inspired. She had such determination to do the things she loved while...
