Rest Anita, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. U.S. Army.

I always like this group, the Essex, and it gave me wonderful memories of that time in the 60's. Wonderful voices, and I still play their songs. Semper Fi.

I was 12 years old when I got a promo copy of Easier Said Than Done in early june, I played both sides of the 45. I thought that are you going my way, would be the hit if not a two sided hit. Anita's voice was so beautiful, I played that record over and over again. I ended wearing that record out by the time A Walkin' Miracle hit the charts. Anita became my favorit singer. I now have all of her songs that i know of all 3 lp's recorded onto cd's to preserve them, I will miss her very much,...

I was struck by her voice when the Essex' first record came out, and have loved it ever since (I still play those albums). I was so sorry to read of her early passing. By all accounts she was not only a very talented performer but also a very classy and well-loved person. She made the world a better place.
