Not sure what to say?

Dr. Anita Dahlke was one of those angels on earth. I met her my first day in college. She hired me as a student employee in her Reading Study Center. I have thought of her often these 43 years.

Words can't expressed the impact she had on my family as well as myself. She believed in me at a time, when I was so unsure of my future and because of her, I too am in the Education field of study. Her memory lives on..

You have my sympathy.

Anita was my first boss at the University; I worked at the Reading-Study Center for 10 years. What a privilege! She taught me so much, including the need to always introduce yourself with the phrase, "...and the study skills class is not remedial!" Her dignity and kindness will never be forgotten.

Bless you my old friend. You are
with God now getting the peaceful,
eternal rest you so richly deserve.
Knowing and working with Anita for over 20 years was a privilege. Lois and I send our most heartfelt condolences to the Dahlke family.

Anita was my friend and mentor. She encouraged me to get involved in the Republican Women's Club and the Kiwanis Club. She was a special lady and will be missed by all who knew her. Linda Wolfe, Former Winnebago County Clerk
