Anita Faye Haddock, 62 of Hampstead passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Anita was born to the late Morris and Annie Cook on March 3, 1960. Being from in Rockingham County you almost have to enjoy racing and Anita followed drag racers Brittany Force and Erica Enders. She also enjoyed the solitude of fishing and crocheting. Although Anita did not have the opportunity to experience raising children of her own she found a special bond with several nephews and nieces.

Anita is survived by her husband of 30 years, Gary Haddock; siblings, Morris (Angel) Cook of Leland, and Linda (Buddy) Melton of Rocky Point, as well as several nephews and nieces.

A visitation for Anita will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel after which a committal will take place at Sea Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to ST. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
