Not sure what to say?

Anita and I shared an office at Ken-o-sha where we started a 24 year friendship that I cherished. She was a gifted and dedicated speech therapist as well as a loyal and sassy friend. I will miss our hours long brunches and our animated talks about GRPS and life in general. I hope you´re at peace with your parents, all your cats (on the other side) that were lucky enough to have you as a cat mom, and, of course, Tupac. I will miss you, my friend. Love always.

I had the privilege of working with anita as her massage therapist. We spent many hours talking about family, careers and education. She expressed her love of gardening, her precious babies ( cats) and the Lifelong crush she had for Tupac. I will miss Anita's wit, honesty, and advice. You fought a hard fight and never seemed to complain. You stayed positive and had hopes to beat your cancer. God bless you anita. You will be missed.

Very sorry to hear. Anita worked out with us for several years. Lynne Boshoven Tim Sheehan

Anita was a dear and wonderful friend to me. She was my former speech therapist in my elementary years at Ken-O-Sha Elementary School from the fall of 2005- the spring of 2011. And my eighth grade year at Alger Middle School. As I got into high school. I switched districts. Anita and I wrote hand written letters to stay in touch before I had a cell phone. She was a great friend I'll miss her dearly RIP Miss. Anita.

She was my daughter's speech and language teacher in the POHI program. She was always patient and loved helping the young adults. May she rest in peace and I will keep the family in my thoughts.

I am one of Anita's first cousins, and our families spent many Christmas and Easter holidays together when we were children. Anita was especially close with my sister Denise who is the same age. She also had a wonderful relationship with my mom. I moved away from Michigan after college and did not see Anita again until her wedding at which we all had a great time. My family was also fortunate enough to spend time with Anita this summer. I will always remember her keen intellect, wicked sense...

I was fortunate to meet with Anita a little over one year ago. We hadn´t seen each other since my dad passed. However she graciously shared several hours when I was hoping for thirty minutes due to her struggles with chemo. Of course she made it about me, and made me feel like she was looking out for me. The conversation was easy and peaceful. Her mother did the same when I was 16 visiting her in the hospital. Unique and caring souls. Hopefully at peace with our lord! God bless!!

I had the pleasure of observing Anita interact with her beloved students several times at KOS Elementary. We shared an office and I would purposely open my door to listen to her at work. She was a masterful, dedicated, talented therapist. She did much good in her time here on Earth. Sending love to her family and friends. She was one of a kind.
