I don't know Ann personally, but as I sit here with the news on in the background, and the ceremonial reading of the lives lost on 9/11, I decided to google a few of the names--learn more about them, as they were more than just this tragedy. I read through the comments and understand that Ann was a warm, infectious, kind hearted soul who was taken too soon. Sending love and strength to those who knew her and forever feel the heaviness of her absence

To the family of Ann, my husband & I went to New York & went to pay our respects at the now Freedom Tower & reflection pools. We just went last month. We stood there in utter awe, humbleness & sorrow. We are from California but both remember where we were that day. We stood in front of Ann's name and felt that we owed her the respect to find out who she was. I'm sorry for your loss and sorry for the life that never had the chance to live out to fulfillment. We did not know her but her name...

I saw your name yesterday at the 9/11 Memorial. It stood out for me, and I wondered about you. You are in my prayers.

As the 10th anniversary comes upon us, I am glad to know the memorial will soon be open so that we all have a place to honor your memory and to celebrate the life and love you brought to the world. Rest in peace.

As I stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.
