Not sure what to say?

I wish every person attending high school could have had a great teacher like Mrs. Armbrister. She was kind and always willing to help anyone who needed it. I learned much more than English from her. I'm sorry for for all of the people who loved her. We all have our special memories of her. From a former student.

Mary Ann, Michael and families. I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. --Pat Wojciechouski, DHS, 1970.

What a great English teacher was Mrs. Armbrister! She taught me to love literature and poetry. She was a terrific inspiration to her students. I will miss seeing her at our 1960 class reunions.

Mike,

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dear mother. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Mrs. Armbrister's senior English class was the single bright spot from the year I attended Dublin High School. She was A truly gifted teacher who could make Literature come alive for the lonely, withdrawn kid that I was in 1960. Her memory will live with me as long as my memory lives.

Mrs. Armbrister prepared us for life and how to communicate. She helped us all learn and learn how to learn. She was an artist, a great American, and a great Virginian. She was an example on how to live. A sweet dear person who cared for us all deeply. She was direct and showed us the way. The right way. We who had her for a teacher are truly blessed. She is a reference for us all. If everyone in the world had her for a teacher there would be no wars.

What a pleasure it was to have known her, what a treasure she is to my life. I am grateful she was my 12th grade English teacher at Dublin High School – she instilled in me the love of reading poems. My sincerest sympathy to her family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Mrs. Armbrister was a wonderful person and teacher. Mike and Sherry, you are in our prayers. May the Lord comfort you during this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Armbrister was such a wonderful teacher and such a beautiful lady inside and out. What a treasure she will be in heaven.
