Ann Mickle Autrey

Mrs Autrey's memory will live on in so many of her students. Great full to have had her as my teacher.

Mrs. Audrey was one of the most energetic and accomplished women we have ever known. Our condolences to her family. She will meet my Mother, Irene, and they will march together in the heavenly band.

I just realized that when I was in Ann´s choir at Gila Vista, as an eighth grader, it was her first year with District One. I shared with her years ago that I had always remembered her teaching us that when we sang Angels We Have Heard on High, each of the glorias had to be done with a single breath, we could NOT be grabbing one in the middle. I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs Autrey's passing. She was a favorite teacher to many. My condolences to her her family.

Mre. Autury was my girl choir teacher at Gila Vista. She was one of those teachers who made a shy girl find her voice and a love show tunes. Ann was a gift to all her students and everyone who knew her.
