Not sure what to say?

Anne was a great friend and a wonderful person at hope lutheran Ed Hendrickson Okoboji iowa

My sincere thanks go out to all who took the time to share their love for Anne here. I am one of Don's granddaughters. Sadly, he passed away this past week. A joint memorial service is being planned for them at Hope Lutheran on Saturday, November 10. I loved both of them so much. Whenever I visited I always had a wonderful time, and they are missed. I'm glad that they're back together in Heaven and look forward to reuniting with them some day.

When I moved into the Sagewood community 5-1/2 years ago, Ann introduced herself to me while I was working in my front yard and continued to stop to talk while on her daily walks through the neighborhood. She was a pleasure to know and a great asset to the community (far before I arrived on the scene). She will be dearly missed.

Ann always greeted us with her wonderful smile. Saying "yes" to her when she called for greeters was easy. We miss her. Dodie and Roger, Cathedral City, CA (Hope Lutheran)

To Ann's family, I have known Anne and Don for 20 years going to church with them at Hope Lutheran. Anne came to see my wife Mary almost every day when she was so sick. She was with us on a Greek Cruise a few years ago. What a wonderful thoughtful and caring person. My sympathies to the family. Ed Hendrickson Lake Okoboji, Iowa

We will miss our special "cousin", Anne, who so graced all of our lives with her good cheer, bubbling enthusiasm, love of life, and deep love of family and friends. She so loved our family reunions - and we always loved seeing her on those special occasions.

To Ann's Family:

We have been neighbors of Anne and Don's for the past 25+ years and became friends. Ann was a lovely lady and very gracious and caring. I went to see her a few days before her passing and am surprised she went so fast. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her, including us!
