Ann was a wonderful woman. My Grandmother, an avid sewer, move to Texas with us 4 years ago in August. Trying to find her a place to meet friends, I was referred the sewing guild. What an amazing, talented life we celebrate today. One of the most magnificent ladies I ever knew. And Louis, without his help and leadership in 1962 a bunch of young Jaycees would have failed and allowed the Pageant to return to Galveston. Ann and Louis: two truly wonderful people.

I was honored to have been welcomed into her home. The world is a little less bright without her.

Ann was such a remarkable, talented, tireless lady. I have always been amazed and impressed with her spirit and graciousness. It was always heart-wrenching to know all she endured and triumphed over as a Holocaust survivor. Such strength of character and faith. She deeply loved her family. The world was a better place thanks to Ann Bogart.
