Ann was program director at WBRC TV when I was co-host of Tom York's Morning Show in the early '80s. She was always supportive of me and gave good advice and guidance to a rank novice how to navigate the world of broadcasting.

I met my dear friend in 1963 at WBRC television. We became very close. She visited me as I moved around the country, I visited her in Cincinnati and Birmingham. Ann was one of my closest friends. I loved her and miss her intelligent and very witty humor. Life will not be the same without her.
