Ann Taylor Cook

I am sorry to see this 3 years too late but my condolences to the family of Mrs. Ann Cook and that makes me very, sad. I am Hillsborough c/o 80 and she was my English teacher in 11th grade and I think I took a Creative writing class with her in 12th grade too but that was a long time ago so. Anyway, Mrs. Cook sure cut me a lot of slack but she seemed to take a liking to me and was always super kind when I didn't quite get "it", whatever "it" was at that moment. TRUELY a mainstay of American history. We all grew up with her. Of course she would be a teacher that beautiful schetch was in all of our homes truly for generations. Her family can be so proud

I had the absolute joy of getting to know Ann when she was a resident at the senior living community I served for several years. Ann was a committed, regular participant in a weekly trivia activity I led (she was very good, by the way), and we became dear friends. She was a beautiful human being through and through and oh so humble about her status as the famous Gerber baby. "After all," she would say, "I was just a baby posing for a sketch. I really didn't have a whole lot to say about it."...
