It's not everyday that you hear about a very special person that has made others around her just as special. Your family was truly blessed with such an extraordinary person. She was loved by those that took care of her during her last days and will always be loved forever in their hearts. I can understand why she meant alot to all her family. She was talented, wise, resourceful and a great example of what a human being should be. I personally met her twice and she enchanted me with her...

was the epitome of what a grandmother is supposed to be. I wish I could
be back in Springfield today, but alas, I can not. On Monday my mother
asked me if I had any thoughts I'd like to share about 'Gramma'. I
spontianously came up with this:

"Gramma was a survivor. She must have
learned so much from her own parents who worked full time AND ran the
small farm on which they lived. Like many people who lived through the
great depression, she was resourceful. She...
