Not sure what to say?

Ann was and remains special. So many kids she taught are now adults who remember her fondly, and still enjoy the water because of her. Our oldest daughter Nina now 48 learned to swim there, and our middle daughter Nicki taught there for a few summers. I felt privileged to know Ann and her husband Gordon. Ann's swimming legacy lives on with the new owners, Copeland and Adrian.

Ann's memory and legacy lives on in the many, many children she taught to swim who are now adults with children, or grandchildren, of their own. It's wonderful her swim school will continue. As a teammate of Ann's in Masters swimming, she was an inspiration and model of excellence.

Dear Cuneo family,

I was a friend of Ann's when we attended Berkeley at the same time. I met her at Crystal Plunge where she trained with Charlie Sava, and I was in a floating water ballet directed by Dr. Charlotte C. Baer from the UC Medical School. In fact, I was in a newpaper picture with Ann and some of our other friends on campus, and I still have that clipping,

We were all also in a RKO Pathe movie short that featured Ann's career. When Crystal Plunge gave water...

I remember Ann with gratitude and fondness. She taught me to swim so I could fulfill the requirement for graduation by swimming the length of the Jewish Community Center pool. The last time we met was at a class reunion in 1991 and she was just as radiant and gracious as ever. Bless you Ann.

Carrie: I met your mom through you 30 years ago. I was sorry to hear of her passing. I wish you the best. Thomas Yasuda.

To the family of Ann Curtis Cuneo. I first heard of Ann when I was quite young, growing up in Sebastopol. I started age group swimming in 1957, and swam against a lot kids from the bay area. My mother used to talk about Ann Curtis all of the time, as a local Olympian. I finally met Ann after I joined the Marin Aquatic Masters. It was my great privilege to be on the same masters swim team as Ann. She was a great lady, and always extremely gracious. And a wonderful sense of humor. Please...

God's Blessings to your wonderful family as you remember your Mom. You continue Ann's legacy in everything you do at your swim school and we are blessed to be a part of Ann's unique gift to us all.

My heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Ann Curtis Cuneo.

I spent many enjoyable times at the pool when I was growing up in Terra Linda and fondly remember Ann and her family.

During this time of loss, I pray for comfort for you.

I had the pleasure to have Ann as a Client, not once but twice. I worked with Ann designing and building both her kitchen in the Terra Linda home and also the design and building of the kitchen and bathrooms in her Tahoe home. She loved engaging in the work of design, her approach was that of a craftsman beginning their work. In those weeks during the process of both projects, I saw Ann with a twinkle in her eye, the same twinkle I saw when she was at the Pool. She was engaged and loving...
