DERBY: Ann M. (Pinto) DelVecchio, age 86, entered eternal rest on October 13, 2025, at Mozaic Senior Life in Bridgeport. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael P. DelVecchio Jr.
Born in Bridgeport on April 16, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Madeline Kiley Pinto. Ann spent her formative years in Bridgeport before moving to Derby and then Seymour for a short time. She was employed as the executive secretary for former Mayor of Derby Marc Garofalo. Prior, she worked at Better Packages, previously in Shelton, and the former Caldor in Derby. Ann’s most treasured times were spent with her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren who were her whole heart. She loved to cook and bake and her family could taste the love in everything she made. Her favorite hobbies included playing bingo and frequent trips to the casino to try her luck. She will be lovingly missed.
Ann leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Kimberly Conlon (Tim) of Stratford and Madeline Marquis (Gary) of Newington, step-daughters, Debra Jones of Virginia, Christine Taylor (Ken Spry) of Seymour and Michele Feigenblatt of Shelton, step-son, Anthony DelVecchio of Virginia, grandchildren, Maria Conlon (Danielle Diaz) of Stratford, Timothy Conlon (Cristina) of Seymour, Brian McCourt of Lynbrook, NY, Christina Mastersanti (Joseph) of Prospect and Stephanie Horwath (Mordechai) of West Hartford, great-grandchildren, Layla, Liam, Quintin, Lincoln, Josephine, Rachel, Rose, Cecily and Jacqueline along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Turziano, brother, Joseph Pinto, step-daughter, Robin Tuttle, and recently by her special friend, Barbara Poppa.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Friday morning, October 17, 2025, from 9:00-10:30 am in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Her funeral will then proceed to St. Mary’s Church in Derby for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will immediately follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby.
