Not sure what to say?

As we approach Nana's one year anniversary, I would like to take a moment to ask everyone reading this to say a prayer on November 3 in remembrance of a woman who should never be forgotten. We shared a special bond that most of you are probably not aware of. She is, and always will be, my guardian angel.

I regret not telling her more often that I loved her.

Nana, I miss you and Love you. Life just isn't the same without you here to share it with us, but I'm sure God has a...

Nana, I love you and miss you very much. I know you are happy now in heaven with Grampy, you have waited a long time to see him again. Thanks for all your kind words of wisdom and prayers that you gave Dave and I before our wedding. Love you always, Kara and Dave.

Nana, We miss you and love you dearly. We know you will be watching over all of us from heaven just as you did on earth. May you rest in peace.
Love, Jason and Meg

What a sweet, lovely lady she was! She will be sadly missed by so many.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this time of sadness.

Only knowing Nana Donovan from the many family stories shared, I can only imagine what a great woman she was. Losing her husband so young and raising such a fine family is testament to that greatness.

Mrs. Donovan was Nana to everyone who knew her.Her full hearty laugh made everyone feel special. She was just all about faith and family and a little talk radio. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary and even though I had not seen her for years, she sent a lovely gift when my sons were born. She took good care of her family when they were young, and they took excellent care of her when she got old. She leaves a legacy of love.

I remember 'Nana' always with her smile, a cunning little laugh and a warm hello for everyone. Everyone was 'darlin' to Nana and she of course made friends everywhere she went.

She personifized the best of her Irish heritage, of which she was so proud. She had a warm heart and generous nature.
I last saw Nana in mid August when I brought her roses for her birthday. Of course she had brownies and an Irish bread for me to take home. She insisted that I come after church on Saturday...

She was the salt of the earth. For those who believe, life is just the price you have to pay to get to heaven. She's in heaven now.
