EAST, Ann Cain, 88, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, February 12, 2011. She was a longtime member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert F. East. She is survived by her two daughters and grandson, Joanne East Batson and husband, Philip S. Rovner, Debbie East Searcy and husband, Dewey Searcy, and their son, Scott Searcy. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where a memorial service will begin at 12 noon. Rev. Ray Inscoe will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Feedmore, 1415 Rhoadmiller St., Richmond, Va. 23220.

We were saddened to hear of your loss and know first hand that no words heal the hurt and sorrow you feel now. We do rejoice in knowing she just moved onto a better place and smiling into the face of our Lord and Savior.
