Ann J. Entis

I was just looking at one of Ann’s sculptures and thinking about her. I decided to google her name to see where she is and found this obituary. She certainly left a wonderful legacy. She will live on in many homes and important places, including ours. We have 10 of her sculptures. Now she is among the angels, like the ones she made each Christmas.

Wyn, I am sorry to hear of Ann's death. I regret losing contact. When I went back into parish work I lost touch with most of my friends from when I was teaching at St. Charles and involved with Winterfair. Both of you were and are in my thoughts and prayers. I treasure the pieces I have of Ann's and the fond memories of your friendship. Many friends have been asking if I knew where Ann and you were. May God be with you in this difficult time. I first met Ann more than 30 years ago at an art show. She was a gracious and very talented lady. I have many of her sculptures and treasure each and every one. She did a very special piece for me when I had my twin sons. I will think of her fondly every time I look at them.

We have many fond memories of Ann through the years. We cherish the memories of being your neighbors, co-worker and friends in Marysville. The times spent with Ann with her horses and the memorable rides with her are always with me (Ruth Ann). We feel honored to have one of her acclaimed sculpures that she made especially for us.
