ERVIN, Ann - Went to sleep on April 22, 2003 and is resting with Jesus. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Monday, April 28, 2003 at Farnumwood Presbyterian Church, 2350 East Hemphill in Burton, Reverend Tim Sutton officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The family suggest donations to Memorial Fund of Farnumwood Presbyterian Church in lieu of flowers. Visitation 4-8PM Saturday and 1-4 and 6-8PM Sunday at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Ann lived a full life surrounded by a loving family. She was married 47 years to a wonderful, caring husband, Kenneth. She had a gift of laughter, and enjoyed traveling. Ann was an active member of Farnumwood Presbyterian Church and the Burton Senior Citizen Center. She worked at AC Spark Plug from 1953-1957, leaving to raise a family. She suffered a short, but brave bout with cancer, but death can never take away the love she left behind. Surviving are husband, Kenneth; sons, Todd and wife Sharlene of Flint, Patrick and friend Beth of Flint; 4 beautiful grandchildren, Christopher, Erin, Liesel and Katie; sisters, Karen and husband Herb Allis of Clio, Diane and husband Al Matthewson of Dearborn, Denise and husband Steve Thoures of Spring Valley, California; brother, Eric and wife Carol Swanson of Flushing and Dale Geddes of Flint; many nieces, nephews, cousins, special brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Jackie Ervin, and special friend, Janet Eagan. She was preceded in death by her father, Eric Swanson and mother, Edith Swanson Geddes. Special thank you to Dr. Parul Sud, nurses and doctors at McLaren Oncology Floor, and hospice for their loving compassion and concern.? Also thanks to the friends and family of Farnumwood Presbyterian Church and South Flint Seventh-day Adventist Church.

I WAS SO SORRY TO READ THIS ON MY COMPUTER. WE WERE OUT OF TOUCH FOR SO MANY YEARS, BUT, I NEVER STOPPED THINKING OF HER, AND ALL THE GOOD TIMES WE HAD TOGETHER. MY THOUGHTS ARE NOW WITH HER LOVED ONES.
